Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an Insurance Consultant with around 2-5 years of experience in the insurance sector, preferably in the CFO or CRO area, or with similar experience in consulting in financial and/or insurance services. Our distinctive features include teamwork, diligence, and international collaboration with colleagues from the Grant Thornton network. The consulting services we provide are primarily focused on Financial Analysis/Accounting/Administration, Risk Management, Strategy/Transaction, Transformation, Audit, and Compliance processes. We are looking forward to meeting talented consultants who have enthusiasm, determination, initiative, and proactivity.

The qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate include:

  • A strong academic background in economics, business, and/or finance;
  • Solid knowledge in at least one of the following areas in the insurance sector: 
  1. general and / or technical accounting;
  2. audit, compliance, with focus on the insurance regulation (IDD 2, POG, IVASS and EIOPA rules, etc.);
  3. insurance processes organization / implementation. 
  • Knowledge in the main insurance rules like IFRS 17 and/or 9, Solvency II is considered a plus;
  • Previous experience of at least two/three years in consulting, insurance and/or financial sector, audit firms, or insurance companies;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English;
  • Excellent ability in Microsoft Office tools (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally.
